Weapons/Powers:

Red State: When activated he enters a flush-like state; a display of redness that covers him from head to toe, Danya is then capable of releasing an enormous amount of energy from within his blood greatly altering his metabolism, one other benefit of this process allows him to extend his sensory system thresholds. He can also use this power to effect his pain and pleasure centers as well; pushing his body considerably further physically as well as enhance his durability than that of ordinary people. Sometimes referred to as "Red Blooded" state.

Long Bow: Customized from his time as a world champion archer. Able to use his Red State ability to greatly increase the speed and power of any arrows fired from it.


Personal History:

His father was once a member of a distinguished scientific research group that concentrated on rare blood disorders; he chose this field after his Cold War military research days had left him inflicted with an unidentifiable mutation of his blood cells. It was during the testing phase of the most promising of these experimental treatments that his father had decided to move onto human trials by injecting himself; this action would come back to haunt him when Danya was born. It was not long after the birth of his son that it quickly became apparent that he was inflicted with a new and unknown type of blood disorder, one which gave the impression of being stuck in a permanent flush-like state. This display of redness continued until he reached puberty, from then on Danya could control these flush-like symptoms at will and with it the extraordinary power that caused them.

Throughout most of his youth he had felt like an outsider; spending most of his time alone. Taking up archery and firearms practice to help ease his mind off of his self imposed isolation, Danya found that he could use his 'talent' to increase the speed and power of the arrows he shot. Training and eventually specialising in archery, he would eventually go on to become a member of the Russian Olympic Team and subsequently a world champion in his field at the age of fifteen. It was in this same year that the Necrotization plague first appeared to the world; this catastrophic incident would go on to encompass almost half of Russia. The outbreak first started at the same research facility that Danya's father worked at, where it quickly took over all of the personnel that had worked there. It had altered them into zombie-like drones with deep purple coloured, vein-like lesions, and blood red eyes.

Danya rushed to where the infected were rampaging to find the Russian military barely holding out against their onslaught; they soon managed to break through the army's cordon and began attacking the local population. He tried valiantly to help, though most of the soldiers by this stage had succumbed to the effects of the disease, Danya seemed to be immune to this plague, it was almost like his ability was somehow protecting him from it. Fighting hard for what seemed like hours, he eventually faltered and was forced to retreat without success; having tried and failed to save his family from this disaster, he was evacuated from the country by what armed forces were left unaffected, at first to Germany and then on to England.
